With Labor Day weekend approaching, summer is coming to an end, which means the fall TV season is just around the corner. One of the most highly-anticipated returning shows is The CW's Arrow, with the Season 4 premiere Green Arrow, debuting Wednesday, October 8 at 8 PM ET on The CW. Today, the network has released the first poster for this upcoming season, giving us a better look at Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) new costume as he returns form his self-imposed retirement as a superhero.

We got our first look at the new Arrow costume at Comic-Con back in July, with Stephen Amell appearing in front of the Hall H crowd in this superhero suit. With the arrival of this poster, hopefully this means The CW will release the first footage in the near future. The network did release a unique trailer yesterday, which featured footage from the previous seasons of Arrow and The Flash, and ending with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) putting his DJ skills on display.

Season 4 of Arrow will feature a number of new characters, such as Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, Alexander Calvert as Anarky, Echo Kellum as superhero Mister Terrific and Jimmy Akingbola as the villainous Baron Blitzkrieg. Caity Lotz, whose character Black Canary was killed in the Season 3 premiere, will also make her return in a Season 4 episode of Arrow, where she will be reportedly brought back to life through the Lazarus Pit and resurrected as White Canary. There is speculation that this will happen in the same episode that Matt Ryan will guest star as John Constantine, since his character has expert knowledge of the Lazarus Pit.

There has also been speculation that DC Comics heroes Batman and Green Lantern will make appearances in Season 4, but that has yet to be confirmed. We do know that David Ramsey's beloved character Diggle will get his own costume, and this season will also feature a few characters that will later appear in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Hawkman, portrayed by Falk Hentschel, is set to appear in both Arrow and The Flash before DC's Legends of Tomorrow debuts next spring.

While we wait for the first official footage from Season 4 of Arrow, check out this new poster, featuring Oliver Queen. What story lines do you hope will unfold during this upcoming season? Are there any other characters from the DC Comics that you hope will debut? Let us know what you think after checking out the poster.
