This fall, The CW's hit superhero shows Arrow and The Flash will return with all new seasons, both debuting in early October. Fans will get a different glimpse into the DC Comics universe with the spinoff series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which is slated to debut in midseason. We know that Legends of Tomorrow will feature a number of characters from both Arrow and The Flash, along with several new heroes as well. Today we have a report from Entertainment Weekly that reveals one of these new heroes, Hawkman, will first appear on both Arrow and The Flash before DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

We first reported on Hawkman coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow a few weeks ago, which makes sense since Ciara Renee's Hawkgirl is one of the show's main stars. In the comics, Hawkman, a.k.a. Carter Hall, is Hawkgirl's lover, a reincarnation of the Egyptian prince Khufu. He discovered a substance known as the "ninth metal" that allowed him to manipulate gravity and give him the power of flight. Hawkman will reportedly first pop up on Arrow and The Flash to help give fans some context into his relationship with Hawkgirl. Here's an excerpt from Entertainment Weekly's report.

"Described as charismatic and wise beyond his years, Hawkman is a natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence-well, that's because he's 5,000 years old. Much like the comic book iteration, Carter retains his memories of his past lives each time he is reborn, though his lover (aka Hawkgirl) is born anew. In other words, Kendra Saunders will have no idea who he is at first."

This news comes just two days after another report which revealed that another DC's Legends of Tomorrow star, Caity Lotz's White Canary, will appear in the first few episodes of Arrow Season 4. Caity Lotz was previously the Black Canary before she was killed in the Arrow Season 3 premiere. She will be brought back to life through the Lazarus Pit in Arrow, before moving over to DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

As far as Hawkman is concerned, it isn't known if Ciara Renee's Hawkgirl will pop up on Arrow and The Flash alongside Hawkman, but hopefully we'll have more details about Hawkgirl and Hawkman very soon. Production is already under way on the new seasons of Arrow and The Flash, but it isn't known when shooting may start on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. What do you think about these new details?
