After being belayed by President Barack Obama's State of the Union address, Marvel's Agent Carter is almost ready for its big Season 2 premiere. Today, we have over 50 photos from the two-part opener, Lady in the Lake and A View in the Dark. And they offer a first look at the character who will become Madame Masque. Are you ready for one of the most exciting TV seasons yet?

These first photos spotlight all of the characters, including returning favorites and new faces. We get to see Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost, who will eventually take over the mantle of Madame Masque! Frost is a Hollywood actress and brilliant inventor who will eventually transform into one of Peggy's deadliest foes. These first images also feature a look at Peggy herself, played by the great Hayley Atwell. Joining her are Lesley Boone as Rose Roberts, Reggie Austin (as Dr. Jason Wilkes, Lotte Verbeek as Ana Jarvis, and Currie Graham (Murder in the First) as Calvin Chadwick.

Marvel's Agent Carter returns for a second season of adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the unstoppable agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home - and perhaps even a new love - she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

Dominic Cooper and Bridget Regan will reprise their roles from Season 1 as Howard Stark and Dottie Underwood, but it isn't known how many episodes they will appear in, or when they will debut. Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb are executive producers. Marvel's Agent Carter is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Season 2 of Marvel's Agent Carter will span 10 episodes, two more than the inaugural season that debuted back in January. Like last season, Marvel's Agent Carter will occupy the Tuesday 9 PM ET time slot held by Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., during that show's midseason hiatus.
